Our Cabanas

Tranquility Bay Resort includes eleven cozy beachfront cabanas. Seven are two bedroom, and four are one bedroom cabanas with a very nice loft. The bedrooms are air-conditioned. Handsome, mixed Belizean hardwoods grace the ceilings. The cabanas are delightfully free of telephones or televisions. Sitting on your own private, covered  beachfront porch, you will enjoy a refreshing Caribbean breeze. The wide, white sandy beach runs the entire width of our property and there are million dollar views from each and every cabana.

The cabanas are all furnished in casual elegance with Queen sized beds. Our mattresses are the super comfortable Simmons Beauty Rest, Pillow Top mattresses, like those of "Heavenly Bed" fame. Our linens are high thread count, 100% Egyptian cotton. Our towels are thick and fluffy.

The cabanas are constructed of concrete, stucco and mixed Belizean hardwoods. Hand painted Mexican tiles are utilized for the kitchen and vanity counter tops. Elegant ceiling fans are present in the living rooms, bedrooms and lofts. Beautiful Caribbean-inspired furniture includes a queen sleeper couch for additional guests or children. Each cabana is fully equipped with refrigerator and microwave. You can choose to prepare a light meal for yourself, dine in our over-the-water Tackle Box Sea Bar or do a little bit of both.

With eleven cozy cabanas, our own over-the-water restaurant and bar, and a beautiful private setting in a National Marine Park and United Nations World Heritage Site, Tranquility Bay is a perfect place to hold weddings, family reunions, business retreats, executive seminars, etc.  Book the whole resort for 40 to 50 guests.  You will have intimacy and privacy, set in a spectacular location.  And you will have excellent food and drinks and a wide palette of activities to choose from.  World class fishing, diving and snorkeling at your front door.
